Thriving communities begin with education that draws out the creativity in people, and thus we fund books and teaching through literacy classes and school scholarships. Such education breaks the cycle of poverty.


Pays for a set of text books and stationary to fully equip a student for literacy class.

Pays for one student to attend school for one year. This amount includes school fees, set of text books and stationary for the year as well as uniform, school bag and school lunches.

Education

Literacy & Numeracy, Gender Awareness and Women's Health are courses run both in our headquarters in Kathmandu and at remote rural villages in which we work.

Skills Training

Women are trained in crafting products for both the export and their local market.
Knitting, sewing, felting and dress making are among the courses we conduct.

Income Generation

Savings and loans, opening bank accounts, basic business training, micro finance programs are run throughout the year in Kathmandu and rural villages.
