Thriving communities begin with education, and thus we fund books and teaching through literacy classes and school scholarships. Such education breaks the cycle of poverty.
Literacy & Numeracy, Gender Awareness and Women's Health are courses run both in our headquarters in Kathmandu and at remote rural villages in which we work.
Women are trained in crafting products for both the export and their local market.
Knitting, sewing, felting and dress making are among the courses we conduct.
Savings and loans, opening bank accounts, basic business training, micro finance programs are run throughout the year in Kathmandu and rural villages.
